Canvassing assignment and recruitment

The interviewee said he was hired in 2020 to locate people who were not registered and persuade them to register. He described being recruited through another worker and being shown that the work could pay $700–$800 per week.

“He was tasked to find people who were not registered to vote and to do whatever he could to get those people to sign up to vote.”

Practices attributed to other workers

The interviewee said he knew that some people received more money for more signatures and that some had friends sign duplicate applications. These are the witness's observations, not an FBI conclusion.

Political-flyer work and departure

The interviewee said some workers thought the organization worked for Joe Biden and that workers not obtaining registrations could be assigned to distribute pro-Biden flyers. He described that combination as strange and said he quit; he also confirmed that he had signed a canvasser contract.

“were tasked to go door to door to hang fliers saying to vote for Biden.”
